Okay, a few people have been asking me what the hell to buy me for Christmas, etc. so I thought I would post a wishlist here. I’m not trying to be pretentious or demanding in any way. This will also serve as a reminder to myself of what I want when I finally have money. I always think “Hey, I want that! I’ll get it with my tax return”, but then when the tax return shows up, I either forget what I wanted or I have to pay for a fucking head gasket or some other bullshit and I get NADA!
1. a light tent (UPDATE: GOT IT!) (anything similar to this one) – I made my own light box out of a clear rubbermade box and some white fabric, like the one seen here, but it’s just not cutting it. It requires way to much work in Photoshop after you take the pictures.
2. a tripod (UPDATE: GOT IT!) (anything similar to this one) – All of the caffeine I have to ingest to get as much work done as I do causes my hands to shake too much and my product pics suffer!
3. a piano/keyboard (UPDATE: GOT IT!) (anything like this as long as it connects to a computer via USB so I can record my music and convert it to mp3)
4. a Nikon Coolpix L4 (UPDATE: GOT IT!) (seen here) – I have a Nikon Coolpix 2100 which I bought about 4 years ago and I love it, but…
Theres this ugly orangey yellow line that appears on every photo I take. You can see it here. It’s been doing that for the last 2 years. I have to edit EVERY single photo I take with Photoshop. It’s so time-consuming and it sucks. I have tested several cameras and I like Nikon. This is the cheapest one (I think). I don’t need anything fancy (yet!).
5. Now this one is EXPENSIVE and I don’t expect anyone to buy it for me obviously, but I’m in the mood to share. It’s an embroidery machine, (seen here).
6. $ for a “Samantha” tattoo.. I wanted to get a half-sleeve done on my upper left arm, but that’s a lotta $$$$$, so I just want to get Samantha’s name like Joey’s and Jeff’s.
Some of the things on this list are very $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, so of course small donations are always accepted !!!
